Can you remove baffles from Bassani exhaust?
Most of our systems have removable baffles although we do not recommend removing them as you will lose performance.
Are Bassani pipes any good?
The sound and performance are great. They really aren’t too loud. I was riding a softail with V&H, as well as a Shadow with straight pipes that were MUCH louder. With the Harley people hated riding on my right side because they were too loud.
What are Thunder torque inserts?
Thunder Torque Inserts are designed to perform well when used on slip-ons with and without baffles, drag pipes, shortys and 2-1 Systems. The Increase in Torque is accomplished by reducing engine pumping losses, increasing exhaust gas velocity and increasing inertial scavenging.

The torque cones also give an anti-reversionary effect as well as increasing velocity in the exhaust pipe. This is why it has been proven torque cones really do work. The smooth bore of the torque cones do not interrupt flow so are a very real functioning performance part.
Can you make Rinehart exhaust louder?
Our Touring mufflers for 2017-Later models come with 2.5″ High Flow baffles already installed, however we do offer a louder Performance baffle (p/n 100-0185) that will make your 4″ or MotoPro45 4.5″ mufflers considerably louder and more aggressive. For all other mufflers and systems, the baffles are not removable.
