Al Jean has revealed the inspiration behind one of the world’s most famous Valentine’s cards. The Simpsons’ showrunner says that he was the recipient of a “I Choo-Choo-Choose You” card in “third grade” (the equivalent of New Zealand’s Year 3), just like Ralph Wiggum was in the show’s 1993 episode I Love Lisa.
