New England Sports Center is the largest ice sports venue for hockey, figure skating, and public skating in North America. We feature eight full size rinks, one 80′ by 33′ mini rink, and one studio rink.

Team owner H. Larue Renfroe also owns all of NESC. The team plans to return to Rhode Island for the upcoming 2021-22 season. It marks the first time in over 100 years that there would be zero Rhode Island Professional sports teams playing a season.

Renfroe decided to take matters into his own hands. He built the New England Sports Center, then containing four rinks, on an 11-acre parcel on Donald Lynch Boulevard. It opened in November 1994.
